My mom always told me to never eat any food outside. I was raised by the value that unless you can confirm the food maker cleanliness, don't even try it. I've been through the times when Mom said, "look at their kitchen". I was growing in small town, but when I move to bigger city, I see people (some are educated people) take their food from stands on the street. I have no problem with food stands, but have you check their environment? Is it healthy? You answer.

This value leads me to hardly try anything new on the street, unless someone recommends it for me. *And I often ask, is it clean?* If you think I'm too paranoid, ask the number of city people suffer in cancer. Due to high polluted surrounding, easy meal and tight schedule, most people don't care what they eat. It's just stupid, especially for us, Moslem. We're taught to choose our food carefully, not because we're picky. It's all to maintain our healthiness. We don’t eat pork, because you know how many worms in it *guess why Indonesia doesn’t go uproar due to swine flu. Most of us don’t consume pork.*

In addition, homemade cooking is the best, because we can always control the hygienist. Although, I can’t cook best balanced food everyday, I make sure to add vegetable in any of my cooking. This morning for example, steamed potato chicken (can we call it nikujaga? XD)
