How to discourage someone to speak her mind
It's just a night like the weekend night when I can't sleep. 10.39 and my baby thunder blinks. It's funny how some people choose this moment to start chatting. I need to sleep. But, I still glance on the screen reading few lines. Somebody just started to love a band I knew for few months. She was excited and I can't blame her. The band is cool.
I restraint myself from commenting. I was yawning too much that I couldn't squeeze the keyboard well. There was time when I might say, "Where have you been? How come you didn't know about this awesomeness?" But, if I took it for myself, it would be discouraging.
Just like this morning when I read an announcement on the hall and told my seniors about. Some who didn't know responded positively, but the one who already read it just cynically said, "it's already announced, right?" It's like a stab on my heart saying I don't need to prolong this information.
I don't know if people like it, but I hate it when someone replies coldly and arrogantly to the news I thought new. "Kan iya", "Emang". Hey!!!!! Isn't that the rude way to stop someone to speak her mind?? When you face someone whom you think knows everything, you tend to disclose, remain silent, right?
