Never trust what people say or the internet. Well, don't trust so easy. At least about food. Okay, I sound so mean, but this is what happen today. My friend read from somewhere about Warung Selat Mbak Lies and led us there.
My first impression of this place is crowded. There are accessories everywhere. Porcelains, plastic miniature, to a small pond scattered all over the place. Somebody is having too much fun designing this place, ha?! I actually feel suffocated. Not to mention the dust everywhere. I hope I don't get my asthma attack. Well, it's understandable that they have difficulties in cleaning the place. There are too many to sweep.
Other than the sanitation problem,  the menu also doesn't suit my taste. I like sweets, but not too sweet. I like chocolate, but a sweet steak is not okay. But, is it really worth to be called "Steak"?  The "bestik" I ordered is so small. It's like any grill cuisine I ever had. I think it's not for lunch. Probably when it's served on dinner, it'd more satisfying.

Since the day was so hot, I took a chance to taste their tomato juice. At least this one taste good. The smoothies on the top is kinda unnecessary and it revert the goodness of the fruit, right? But, it did looked cute. XD

Summary, this place is not for those who are really hungry or those who doesn't like too sweet. It's not for me, but it's probably suit you.
