Hey hey hey!
My office holds another blood donation event. It's weird they didn't put pamphlets everywhere, but I got reliable source informed me yesterday. I'm so excited. Also worry. Remember the last time they reject me? Yeah, that's quite traumatic. lol.

So, I took proper preparation for this. I didn't drink coffee since yesterday to this morning. It's said that coffee decrease your Hb. I had liver for dinner and breakfast because it has large amount of iron which is essential for red blood cells. My breakfast is quite heavy. After rice and liver, I got two slices of wheat bread. Of course I feel sleepy already. Something was wrong with my bus this morning, so I didn't get enough sleep on my way to office. I had to take train. huh.
Well, sh*t happens, right?

I take 2 colleagues to the blood donation venue. I didn't talk to a lot of people, just invite those who might want to make donation. Hey, nobody wants to be rejected,  right? It's a waste of time to tell those who has no determination in donating blood.

I found that people who's healthy enough to donate blood is pretty much having clear mind. There are a lot of people who are unable to give blood due to medical problem, but also because they're afraid of needle. How poor they are.

Anyway, as I line on the administrative desk to get my Hb checked,I was so nervous. But, the officer says it's 12.7. Yay! It feels like my "coffee fasting" is paid. Next, the tension checking usually never cause me trouble. I have normal tension.Yokatta

There are so many people lining in front of 10 beds to donate. And they take 250 ml of my blood. It's the least amount of blood donation. The officer says it's because my Hb is not high enough to draw more blood. That's okay, at least I got to give out some.

It's small share, but it means a lot to sick people. Remember when we often get twit saying someone needs blood here and there? I think more and more people should visit nearby Red Cross to donate. Better make use of your blood. Also don't waste it, like in Kamisama no Iu Toori (another weird movie I watched yesterday. lol)
