so, I'm currently in Jogja for Disaster Research. News said that the local Disaster Countermeasures Governing Body (it's called BPBD) is the best across the nation, so I want to be see what had they done.
At the same time, Philippine is in pain as the result of Haiyan Typhoon. It's almost a week and they still can't get electricity. It's clear to me that Indonesian's BPBD is much better than Philippine's rescue team.
Jogja is a high risk place where it can slapped by earthquake, land sliding, flood, or typhoon. So, this place is full of disaster tourist spot. The last volcano eruption? It's popular among tourists. The survived buildings get vistors everyday. The museum and park are everywhere. You should come to see them yourself!
