I’ve been out of office almost every day in the past one month. My office is still renovating and the workstation won’t be ready till next month. It’s dusty and cramped. We end up sitting in the meeting room. It's fun for the first week, but it's getting tiresome later. I can't endure being with a lot of people.

When you're with strangers, it's easy to be nice and tolerant. But, after quite a while, you return to your reality. You can't involve in gossiping or laughing all the time. You can't always follow other's pace. I can't. I have other things in my mind. Sometimes, I snapped someone and I regret it right away. So, I have to stay away from this situation. Therefore, I choose to walk outside.

Lucky Shanti is more than happy to accompany me. We visited several museum and end up coming to Sency for lunch. I usually had takoyaki, but one day Shanti reminds me the good baking smell we encountered on the way to takoyaki stand. We decide to check it. The last time we suspect it came from the creampuff cafe, but they didn't even baking (the creampuff they served was cold. ugh). So, we enter the cafe next to it: Killiney Kopitiam. It's Singaporean coffee shop which serve Kaya Toast. This probably the origin of that delicious smell.
Of course, we had the main dish: tom yam and nasi goreng Killiney. It's not easy for me to finish the nasi goreng since I just visited my dentist yesterday. Shanti has the similar problem when she needs to uncover the clam. lol. Well, we're not in a hurry, so we take our time. The meal is not bad.The Wheat Kaya Toast is also delicious. I almost forget that I have fragile teeth. We finish the snack fast. But, it's not where the smell came from. Damn, we're getting curious. Perhaps, we're gonna reveal the mystery on our next visit.
