My Stupid Boss: it's ATURABLE

After moving to Malaysia, Diana decides she needs a job. She doesn't want to stay home lazily and joins the neighbors' gossip club. The wives in her neighborhood questioning her job hunting. Is it better to stay home and have lots of free time? Well, a portray of housewives life. Can't deny it, some are just like that.

So, back to the story, she applies to her husband's friend's company. Hoping for a good environment, Diana is faced with quirky bossman, illegal workers, and stressed staffs. The story is more like what you read from the books. I'm not going to spoil everything, but reading is so much more fun than watching this movie.

Although, I had a good laugh when I watch the premiere today. Most of the viewers must be fans of the books, they laugh even before the movie started. Still, the heroine is not the best one, she fails to bring the craziness of Diana's character. I imagine her to be a lot of scarier, bitchy, lousy. Have you seen Friends? I'm actually watching it all over from the first season. I expect Indonesian actors/actresses are able to put those smart expressions like Phoebe, Joey or Chandler. 

Well, that's the style of Indonesian entertainment. Almost like Korean who focus on the appearance instead of acting quality (although I say Korean drama reveals more entertaining expressions).Sad. Just sad.

My Stupid Boss is quite entertaining until they decide to sing and dance like Bollywood movie. It turns me off.
