This year's snorkeling has cost me my google. It broke when I swam in Moyo Island. Well, it's served me for so many years so I have no regret letting it go. I just have to find a new one. But, is it sold separately? I bought it in pair with the snorkel.
Still, it's another satisfying snorkeling experiences. I got a chance to snorkel in Sabang (for the second time) and Moyo, West Nusa Tenggara ( the small exotic island next to Sumbawa island. ). This year's snorkeling time has been satisfying. Not only I got nice companion, I also perform better than the last snorkeling. Here are some points you might consider as tips when snorkeling in those places.

Outfit

Headwear. Make sure your hair properly tight. I'm using hijab, so I prefer having layered headwear to prevent my hair showing up during the snorkeling.
Footwear. When wondering around the corals, your feet might touch them incidentally or get bitten by fish. Use water shoes if you don't like fins. I don't like fins, because it might hurt the corals and it's hard to walk with it.
Snorkel. Better have your own google and snorkel to ensure the hygiene. My package of 4 years finally worn off this year. *sobs* Thank you for riding with me, blue ones.

Supply

Storage. There are dry bags to store your stuff during the adventure. But, I don't find them stylish so I choose backpack from Kalibre. Waterproofed, light, and spacious.
Underwater camera. Can't deny that no matter how amazing your experience, you have the feeling to share it with other people. The problem is not every snorkeling agency provides the underwater camera. If you have an additional budget, it's cool to get your own camera.
Sunblock. People say I'm getting darker this year. Gosh, that's what you get after having few days under sun. So, don't forget your sunblock. Apply once in few hours to protect your skin. Indonesian's sun is nothing to be underestimated.

Companion

The best arrangement is going in group, because
Cheaper. The travel cost is a bit expensive due to lack of public transportation. Even the boat costs us almost 3 million rupiah for a day round.
Safer. This year i'm traveling in group of 5 women. It's safer to go together than being on my own. Also, some of my friends don't swim well, so we carry each other on the sea.
Happier. having people around you when you're excited makes things more pleasing. You have someone to laugh with, to talk to, to scream to.
