Die Hard 4.0 is still my favorite movie. It was released by the time internet wave smashed Indonesia. Of course, there were so little we know about the net and the possibility, making the movie an eye opener. There is this scene where young hacker, Matt Farrel explains to McClane how media spread negativity and that he has statistic on it. McClane asked where he got all that knowledge and he replied everywhere, here and there. You see that’s the incredible thing about gathering knowledge from internet: there’s no exact structure. You don’t follow the table of content to read about something. There’s no table of content. Your inquiry is all rely on your feeling of which link to click. Thus, our knowledge is varied.

Still, the information is provided (almost) fairly. I mean, if I can access it, you probably can too. The difference is just the path we took to get there.

I must admit I hate people asking me question of something I found on the internet. I’m okay when people asking me what’s that movie about. But, when they follow with more specific questions, I want to scream “I wrote it on my blog and you’re following it, can’t you just read it there?”
Geez, todays kids are so lazy. Even when the exact word is written in front of their face, they still need to ask. I would goggle the word before raising a question, tho. Yeah, they’re not me but I’ve been showing a lot of examples on how to inquiry, also giving reinforcement even reprimand to modificate such a lazy behavior, so I’m hoping my effort results in a little bit positif behavior.

I’ve been hearing empty words saying “you are so amazing. I can’t do it like you.” Hey, you only see what I am today. Don’t you know that it took me a hard work to get where I am now? Do you think people can turn magnificent without diligence? It was also hard for me to inquiry, to make gif, to do a lot of thing. But, I went through it anyway by practicing. In the end, the skill earns me faster hand, eagle eyes, and the work becomes light.
