Hello everyone, long time no see.
Lately, I've been wondering if I'm still qualified to be called otaku. I watch less and less dorama and anime these past few seasons. I barely finish any series. *Sigh* I'm ashamed.

But, to my defense, the recent dorama lacks a lot. It feels like watching a never-ending circle where each season consists of similar themes: crime and detective (some series even have been running for 4-7 seasons), medical (genius doctors), forensic, working woman, affair people. I think I had enough. Don't blame me for turning to cdrama. I do think cdrama land has a certain circle, too: xianxia, wuxia, or the modern romance which following Korean's style. However, as a noob, I found them fresh. It might take a while before I reach a saturation point.
Let's check what we have this season:

Business/work
Heaven: Ishihara Satomi opens a restaurant and hires some problematic staffs. She's pretty, but the story doesn't appeal to me. Plus, Sota still not a good actor.

Runway 24: I don't need another airplane-pilot dorama. I'm good with Attention Please, Good Luck, Tokyo Control, Tokyo Airport....ah, so many.

Romance-Comedy
Lupin no Musume: Daughter of thief family wants to lead a normal life, but she eventually dating a guy from a police family. hmmm...promising?
Boku wa Mada Kimi wo Aisanai Koto ga Dekiru:Jinjin looks so handsome. But, it's about a single woman who struggles to get married. I hate it when Japan put marriage as the goal of a woman's happiness.
coffee and vanilla: Sakurada Doori plays 30-year old salaryman dating a 20-year-old innocent college girl. He shows some skin. Why Doori? Why?

Affair
Junichi: Junjun having affair with a pregnant woman. Ugh
Watashi Danna o Share Shiteta: She just found out that her husband had two other families when he passed away. And that he's quite rich.

Melow drama/Slice of life
Two Weeks: A remake of Korean drama. Is this the chance for Haru chan to grab our attention again?

Weird
Rapper ni Kamaretara Rapper ni Naru : Dramacool wrote: Based on manga by Inka Teikoku about a world where people suddenly turned into RAP zombies due to unexplained "RAP viruses.Oh no.
Scam: University graduate turned a swindler of voice phishing. sad.

detective
Tokusou 9: Season 2:  I'm sorry, Pudding. It's boring.

Forensic
Kansatsui Asagao: This is the forensic dorama for the season
Sign: another forensic thing

As a result, I haven't picked anything. On the other hand, cdrama seems a bit hyped:

The Untamed: two friends work to stop the evil plan of Wen Clan. Based on BL novel (hahaha), but it seems they are just going to push the bromance. Everybody is so pretty and it has a steady adventure plot. Quite similar to Fight Break Sphere, but here they put a conclusion for every problem (FBS kinda missed some resolutions). The untamed leads the most interesting conversation on Tumblr. Although I don't watch it every day and now I'm 6 episodes behind, I kinda get every spoiler from everyone too far ahead. haha.

Novoland: Eagle Flag: I'm so into Liu Haoran, and this one he gets more action scenes. I've seen an episode of this drama and fall in love with the heroine, Song Zu'er. So cute, so noisy. XD

Gank Your Heart & Go Go Squid, also The King's Avatar: Gank Your Heart actually run last season, but it has a similar plot to Go Go Squid. Even the first episode shares the same scenes: the team lost. Although Go Go Squid is fastly subbed, I feel Gank Your Heart (only 1 episode subbed so far) is more touching. I cry watching the first episode of Gank Your Heart. The casts are also more to my liking. Hope it gets more subbing episodes.
The King's avatar also talks about e-sport, but Yang Yang looks so handsome. Just got the first two episodes, I would like to watch it tomorrow.

Blowing in the wind: it's subbed on youtube. Might drop it because it looks so predictable.
