How are you?
I had lunch with Ami-ami and Poteji last week. Haha. It’s been years. Although we live in the same city, we adores laying around sleeping at weekend, thus we couldn’t find time to hang out. Like we used to. Ah that days when we spent hours at coffee shop or on the corridors of our campus....Those images flash in my head right now. It doesn’t seem like too long ago, I can remember the fun.
For the last few years passed by without seeing each other, we barely text. We’re busy, I know. The truth is I don’t really miss them. We’re caught in our new routines, catch new friends, get new schedule. When we stumble upon problems, we learn to solve it without nagging each other.
Does that mean we’re not friend anymore?
I never thought about. I should’ve, but I didn’t. Until that day we met for lunch. We agreed to go to Pancious. Ami ami was already there when I came. She was busy with her call. I waited. No hug, no scream. The first sentence coming out from her mouth was not “How Are You?”
I don’t remember exactly what words she said, but by deleting the phrases HWY, it seems we just jump to continues our last conversation few years ago. It seems like the time we’re not seeing each other is just a little pause.
Of course, stalking at our social media helps. Sometimes we just peek each other’s instagrams.e, where I rarely open.

I hate it when people say HWY, especially when we were hanging out a lot before. It seems so strange. Only strangers are allowed to say that. It seems like a new start. I don’t want to start new relationship with my friend, I want to continue where we left.
