iPhone vs anything else

Mom lost her phone. It was an android phone we presented her as her birthday present two years ago. It's impossible to give her iPhone because I don't want to trouble her with it. So, I asked bro to find her a good one. 

The problem with other brands' phones is that they have SO MANY VERSIONS. Samsung Galaxy for example (my family has been using samsung for years), they have Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy S4. Mini, and many others. This drives me crazy as someone who's used to go to Apple store to pick iPhone. You don't have lots version. iPhone only releases 2 versions in a year: (number) and (number)S. You have limited choice, which saves your time (but, probably not your money).

I realize that this many versions of smart phone is an answer to customer needs. Each version bring the one or two advantage, whether to play, to be interacted to other people, or just to have standard function of calling and sms. Every phone is made to different type of people: young, old, girl, businessman, children.  The phone try its best to fit the customer.

However, it's the contrary with iPhone. Everyone should cope to its spec. iPhone is an all-in smartphone which offer everything whether you need it or not. iPhone is the note, watch, calling device, social media tool, video call mean, device tracking, game player, graphic editor, and most important thing is status identity. iPhone is like Blackberry 10 years ago when only businessmen and rich use. So, in order to maximize its function, the user must learn much. No wonder iPhone users (at least in my office) are considered high tech geeks.
